He’s fat and he’s proud.
A massive potbellied Sphynx cat named Amsterdam, who resembles a Buddha statue is tickling legions of feline fans online with his impressive girth and stone-cold confidence.
The Vienna-based, hairless gato grande weighs more than 16 pounds — and that’s even without the fur.
Amsterdam’s owner Jana Martinka posted a video of the 6-year-old feline sitting up like a human and proudly showing off his rolls like he’s been listening to body positivity icon, Lizzo.
In the video, Amsterdam is letting it all hang out next to his pal, 3-year-old kitty, Neytiri who places a paw on the mound of flesh. By comparison, Neytiri is downright svelte.
“I thought it was very funny but also very special for me to see them like this,” says Martinka.
But Amsterdam’s pose wasn’t vanity.
“The reason he was sitting like this is because there is an infrared heater on the wall and the cats love to sleep there,” says Martinka.
