Cashay & Cinco Officially Break Up & Share Statements
Love Island USA season 3 stars Cashay Proudfoot and Cinco Holland Jr. have taken to social media to officially announce that they have broken up after being together for about five months. Cash and Cinco met on their very first day on Love Island USA, but their actual relationship on the show was full of ups and downs. After several re-coupling sessions, both Cash and Cinco were ultimately dumped from the villa at separate times.
In any case, Cashay and Cinco reconnected after their respective eliminations and decided to give their relationship another shot. Cash stayed a few days living with Cinco and his family in Virginia, and the couple went on to meet up several other times after that. They did maintain a long-distance relationship for the most part, but they made things work and even spent Thanksgiving together in 2021. As of January 2022, Cashay and Cinco were reportedly still together but hadn’t yet put a label on their relationship.

Now, both Cashay and Cinco have issued their own social media statements regarding their official breakup. As seen in the screenshots below, Cash shared the following on Instagram Story: “I want to announce that Cinco and I are no longer together.” She thanked the fans who have supported them as a couple and as individuals. She then asked for her followers to please respect their privacy at this time. “Please don’t DM me that you’re sad because obviously same,” she wrote. In the meantime, Cinco also wrote a statement about their breakup and also thanked fans for their support. He added, “I hope that you can continue to support us separately. Relationships are hard and breakups are hard also.”
Cinco and Cash had kept Love Island USA fans up-to-date with pictures, posts, and comments on social media throughout the five months that they stayed together. Even though breakups can be tough on every couple, it appears that Cashay and Cinco are on good terms, all things considered. It also seems clear that they don’t want to start any drama with the Love Island fans, probably in an effort to avoid messes that season 2 couples like Justine Ndiba & Caleb Corprew, as well as Cely Vazquez & Johnny Middlebrooks, went through when their relationships ended. Cinco had a roller-coaster ride in the Love Island villa with many women vying for his love, but he is clearly not a big fan of drama.
Judging by her statement, Cashay is sad about breaking up with Cinco, but she is also one to always encourage positivity on social media when it comes to herself, her friends, or her relationship with Cinco. With that said, both Cash and Cinco had already forewarned fans that they didn’t want any drama to happen if they ever did break up in the future. Now, the time has come for Love Island USA fans to hopefully respect Cinco and Cash’s privacy.
